divh2Business Analyst/h2pIDEALFORCE has a contract position available immediately for a Business Analyst to join our customer in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an onsite position. Client is considering only local candidates for this role./ph3Job Description/h3pThe business analysts primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners./pp Understand what the business does and how it is accomplished and key process dependencies that may exist/pp Analyze business functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows/pp Assist in identifying scope of work/pp Elicit requirements and document in either a Business Requirements Document format or, as Agile Backlog Items/pp Prepare business process maps and high-level workflows/pp Create the following documents: Use Cases, Functional Specification, Wireframes, and Report Mock-ups/pp Develop Agile Product Backlog items for presentation to development teams and business owners including appropriate assumptions, acceptance criteria, User details, and non-functional requirements/pp Identify business processes for redesign; Determine how to improve existing business process; Identify modifications to automated processes/pp Identify complex requirements across systems and business domains/pp Understand the integration of processes across domains, scope, charter, plans/pp Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience; communication of business information to a technical audience/pp Co-ordinate testing efforts with Quality Assurance/pp Performs other duties as assigned or apparent./ph3Qualifications/h3p Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; Masters degree preferred/pp Minimum of 4 years practical experience in business analysis required/pp Minimum of 3 years experience in scrum/agile environments; Scrum certification preferred/pp Experience gathering requirements from the client/business and documenting./pp Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking, and/or evaluation of business processes required/pp Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) required./pp Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally required/pp Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data as required./pp Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures is required./pp Knowledge of current Microsoft.NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net, and SharePoint highly preferred./pp Working knowledge of Team Foundation Services 2013 preferred./pp Strong aspiration to learn new technologies./pp Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality./pp Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users./pp Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues./pp Ability to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needs./pp Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership./pp Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quickly./pp Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferred./pp Proven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting./ph3Additional Information/h3p- All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. - All candidates who are authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. - Candidates must clear the background check prior to commencing the assignment./ppTHIRD PARTY CANDIDATES:/ppEmail your candidate/s resume to pete dot tylor at idealforce.com along with the following details: Rate, Current location, and Availability./ppDisclaimer:/ppThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
