Job Description
As a back office medical assistant , your job duties include some administrative tasks , like entering patient medical history, symptoms, and vital signs into their chart and coding patient medical records for insurance and billing purposes, as well as basic medical tasks like measuring patient blood pressure and heart rate. Also required to assist with certain procedure and surgeries.
Sterilization of instruments
Preparing rooms for procedures
Taking patients back to the room and taking vital signs
Assisting the doctor with office procedures
