Overnight Security Officer About the role: This position is Part Time or Full Time (dependent on if the candidate can work 2 overnight shifts and 3 non overnight shifts per week). The Overnight Security Officer is a part of a team responsible for the security and safety measures throughout the Hotel. They will assist in the strategic oversight of every aspect of the Resort's physical security and safety for Guests, Residents, Employees.
What you will do: - Actively participate in day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.
- Work Overnight shifts
- Respond properly to any hotel emergency safety situation and document guest and employee incidents.
- Promote safety awareness and enforcement throughout the Hotel to reduce accidents and loss by providing training as required.
- Assist in implementing preventive safety and security programs.
- Provide basic security services, key control, guest and function room lock problems/reprogramming, guestroom safe malfunctions, and lock out.
- Project an image of friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to provide personalized services to all building occupants, workers, and neighbors, whether over the phone or in person.
- Make recommendations to the Director of Security and other department managers.
What you bring: - Minimum one-year previous experience required in related position; certifications preferred.
- Requires the ability to operate computer equipment and use Microsoft applications.
- Ability to work well in high pressure situations and possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.

- Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States.

Schedule & Hours: - This is a part-time overnight position.
- A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays.
